NRC Mamelodi West

Nations Restoration Church Mamelodi West is a branch of the global ministry, Nations Restoration Church. The branch was launched on the 25th of April 2021 and is led by Pastor Joseph Mashakeni, who also serves as an elder (leader) in NRC globally.

Our Purpose Statement

 

  1. Glorifying God through worship and obedience.

  2. Nurturing passionate love for God and fostering genuine love for others through fellowship and service.

  3. Advancing the Great Commission by:

    • Reaching the world through evangelism and missions.

    • Maturing believers into Christlikeness through discipleship.

    • Training, equipping, and empowering believers to serve the church and minister to the world.

  4. Raising kingdom influencers, equipped to advance God’s kingdom in their spheres of influence.

  5. Establishing sustainable initiatives like church planting, apostolic communities, and networks focused on the kingdom.

  6. Preparing the Body of Christ for the Second Coming of Jesus Christ.

The four major objectives that the Nations Restoration Church community intensely pursue are as follows:

1. EXALTING the LORD.

- Everything that we do must first and foremost exalt and honour the LORD (1 Cor 10:31; Col 3:17).

2. EQUIPPING believers (the saints)

- Equipping is one of the primary ways to help people become like Christ. This is accomplished as gifted people of NRC pour out their lives into others, and they in turn reach out to others with the vision of “every NRC believer an ambassador and a minister” (Eph 4:11-12).

- Equipping ensures that every NRC believer becomes a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ (Eph 4:13).

- The overall purpose of equipping is that the “man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work (2 Tim 3:17).

3. EVANGELIZING the lost

- At Nations Restoration Church we strongly believe that if we are not reaching out to the lost, we are not fulfilling the greatest reason for our existence as a church (Matt 28:19-20; Mark 16:15; Col 4:3; Acts 1:8).

4. EXPANDING the Kingdom of God

- At Nations Restoration Church we understand that God seeks to expand His kingdom here on earth through us as His royal children (believers).

Our Ministry Context

Nations Restoration Church functions under the two major forms of ministry contexts

1. The church GATHERED

- The church is to be GATHERED for worship, instruction, edification and fellowship.

- The church GATHERED – edification and equipping believers.

2. The church SCATTERED

- As an outgrowth of the church GATHERED and the impact of that on its spiritual life, the church is SCATTERED throughout the week for the purpose of evangelism and ministry.

- The church SCATTERED – evangelism – penetrating society.
